Halloween and more!

Mrs. Nord and Mrs. Ryan's Class

Happy Halloween!

October flew by! We started off at the Pumpkin Patch, had a visit from Radnor Fire Company (2 times...once for Mr. Tosti using the toaster oven;) and enjoyed the Halloween-a-thon. Lots of learning throughout this busy month and a fun ending with a Halloween party!.

Congratulations to the Libby Family- Trunk or Treat Winners!

Classroom news:
In ELA: We have learned the following sight words: I, like, the, and, see, we, a, to, me, can, come, play. Please practice the sight words located on the word ring.  We learned about how animals move in different ways in the story Move  and we also learned how important wheels are in the story What Do Wheels Do All Day? See some of our sentences below about objects that use wheels. We also practiced using adjectives and wrote sentences using color words or numbers to describe something. We really enjoyed the story Room on a Broom and wrote about who or what we would take with us a broom ride. The next two Letter People we met were: Mr. C  who has a "colossal cap" and Ms. P who has "pointy patches!
