Classroom news:
In ELA: We have learned the following sight words: I, like, the, and, see, we, a, to, me, can, come, play, with, my, not, now, what, for, are, be. big, how. Please practice the sight words located on the word ring. We met Mr. B who has "beautiful buttons." We read the stories Jump into January, What Do You Do With a Tail Like This?, Turtle Splash, and What a Beautiful Sky! We compared and contrasted activities that we do in different seasons, cause and effect, and drawing conclusions. We learned about the different parts of a sentence: subject, verb and also making sure we have a complete sentence.
In Math: We completed Chapter 4- one to one correspondence, comparing groups that have more, fewer, most and fewest, and numerals 0-10. Now we started Chapter 5- Numbers to 31, greater than, less than, equal, numbers that come before, after, and between. We are practicing teens at the moment.
In Religion: We celebrated the season of Advent and the Christmas Story. We collected items to those that live at Rosemont Care as well as patients at the Veterans Hospital. Many thanks for all of the donations!💚 We loved singing in the Christmas concert!
