Back To School 2026- Week of Sept 14th

First Day of school smiles😊

We have had the best first week of school! Many thanks for sending in the paperwork, headsets, and supplies. Your help is appreciated!! We met all of our "specials" teachers. The kids are adjusting to their new routines and are already exceeding our expectations. Thank you for sharing them with us!

 In ELA: We are practicing printing our letters, especially the lowercase letters. We listened to stories and practiced "turn and talk" with our neighbors. We practiced the letter t (recognizing it,  picture, and sound) "t, top, /t/" in FUNdations. We also started Heggerty and are reday to start Benchmark on Monday. 

       In Math: We are learning to differentiate between items that are the same, alike, and different as well as sorting.  They also sorted by color and shape. We are practicing our listening and following directions skills as well. 

        In Religion: We celebrated Mary's Birthday and started discussing the wonderful world that God has given us. God loves us so much that he give us our wonderful world. Ask your child about some of the gifts that God gave us. We are practicing making the sign of the cross as well as learning the Our Father.

We met our 6th grade buddies and atteded mass on Wednesday.
