Welcome to November! It seems like October flew by. We are excited to celebrate Kindeness month and all of the fun activities that November brings our way.🦃

Happy Halloween!! Halloween-a-thon was so much fun👻

We loved all of the fabulous and creative costumes. It was a day filled with fun in Kindergarten. Many thanks to Mrs. Sherman and Mrs. Pickard for hosting our Halloween party!!

Our Star Student of the Week: Keenan Purvis⭐

Did you know that Keenan's favorite thing to do is visit Boston College or that his one wish is for a golden retriever?! We loved learning all about Keenan!

ELA: We continue to practice printing our letters, especially the lowercase letters. We listened to poems and stories both fiction and non-fiction. The letters we covered in FUNdations are b, f, t, m, n, i, u, o, g, a, d, s, e, & r (recognizing it,  picture, and sound) "b, bat, /b/"  and "f, fun, /f/". We practiced identifing the main idea in a story and retelling key details.  We finished Unit 2 and completed the assessment. Next up is Unit 3: Rules at Home and School The letter this week is Ii and our sight words are "she & can." 

Math: Chapter 4: Numbers 0-10 including comparing sets- more, less, as many as. Working on numbers 6-10, ways to make numbers 6-10

Religion: We continue to practice making the sign of the cross as well as saying daily prayers. Learning how God made All People and He made them good. All Saints and All Souls

Science and Social Studies: Different cultures around the world, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving.

*Homework is due by Friday

*Please check and empty your child's folder each night.

*Word Rings "live" in your child's take-home folder. When you are finished practicing the words, please keep them in the folder. 

*Gym on Friday

*Thursday, Nov. 12 is the Talent Show
